**Eng. Tarek El Molla, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Chairs Supreme Committee Meeting to Review Progress of New Refining and Petrochemical Projects**
Eng. Tarek El Molla, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, chaired a meeting of the **Supreme Committee for Petroleum Projects** to review the **progress of engineering and construction works** for several new refining and petrochemical projects currently under implementation.
The projects discussed included:
* **Wood Panel Production Project from Rice Straw** at **Wood Technology Company (Badco) in Beheira Governorate**, which is the **first of its kind in Egypt, Africa, and the Middle East, and the second globally**.
* **Diesel Production Complex** at **Assiut National Oil Processing Company (ANOPC)**.
* **Expansion Projects at Midor Refinery** in Alexandria.
* **Carbonization Complex and Coal Production Unit** at **Suez Petroleum Company**.
