**Presentation of Sustainability Awards in the Energy Sector at the Egypt International Petroleum Conference and Exhibition (EGYPES 2023)**

**Eng. Tarek El Molla, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Presents Sustainability Awards in the Energy Sector at EGYPES 2023**

Eng. Tarek El Molla, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, presented the **Sustainability Awards in the Energy Sector** during the **Egypt International Petroleum Conference and Exhibition (EGYPES 2023)**.

El Molla stated that the scope of the sustainability awards has been expanded, as sustainability is a **key topic in addressing the risks of climate change**. He highlighted that discussions on efficient and sustainable energy use were part of the **COP27 Climate Summit**, recently hosted in Sharm El Sheikh. He also emphasized that the conference addressed major sustainability topics, including **occupational safety, health, and community development**, noting that the energy sector is dynamic and committed to achieving **sustainable development**.

* **2nd Place:** Baker Hughes for the project *“Integrated Water Collection Management and Enhancing Soil Carbon Content”*

* **Best Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Project:**

* **1st Place:** Assiut National Oil Processing Company (ANOPC)
* **2nd Place:** Chevron

* **Best Health Project:**

* **1st Place:** Badr El Din Petroleum for the project *“Food Safety and Hygiene Management in Remote Sites”*
* **2nd Place:** Rasheed Petroleum for the project *“Health Risk Assessment”*

* **Best Safety Project:**

* **1st Place:** TotalEnergies for the project *“Suez Tank Technical Inspection Center”*
